History

Believing another priest to have been murdered when the official reporsts said suicide, Father Alex Bernier was excommunicated for investigating the other's death. His investigation forced him to work with a woman who previously tried to kill him (during an exorcism, mind) and the two discovered their love for one another. Alex discovered the priest had in fact been killed, by a Sin Eater. The Sin Eater took a keen interest in Alex, telling Alex he was destined to be the next sin eater.
