Codex, or Cyd Sherman is a character from the internet show The Guild.

Background Info

Cyd is addicted to online gaming. She spends most of her time playing Codex, a priest on a World of Warcraft-esque MMORPG. She doesn't leave the house much. Her therapist 'broke up with her' because of her unwillingness to cut back on her internet time. One of the guys in her guild showed up at her door thinking she was madly in love with her. That darned winky smiley face gives the wrong impression sometimes.
