Emmett Cullen is a character from the Twilight series of novels by Stephenie Meyer.  Emmett is a vampire who has sworn off of drinking the blood of humans.  His large, muscular and imposing appearance belies his cheerful and boisterous personality.  Rosalie Hale, the vampire who first saved his life by bringing Emmett to Carlisle Cullen is Emmett's wife and soulmate.  Emmett lands UNDER THE RAINBOW taking the place of one of the defensive line of the Seattle Seahawks.

Personality

Bella Swan calls Emmett a "big, scary teddy bear".  He is physically the most strong and imposing of all his adopted family, the Cullens, and he puts that advantage to use often.  But that strength is paired with a happy, cheerful and sometimes naive-seeming behavior.  Emmett is often described as boyish, both in his face and in his manner.  He is fiercely loyal and protective of his adopted family, Bella included.

UTR History

Emmett arrives in UTR directly following the events of the first novel, Twilight.  He is replacing one of the Seattle Seahawks' defensive linemen, and so will have to keep figuring out how to miss day games.

Emmett's PB is Kellan Lutz (the actor portraying him in the film).   His journal is HellsNotSoBad.  (In a "deleted scene" from Twilight, Emmett states that "Hell's not so bad if you get to keep an angel with you.")
