Besides having her mother's eyes and the familial trait of being able to see the Shadows Henriette is a fairly normal human. At least on the outside. She does have the mutant gene, and it manifests in a sort of reverse-empathy. In other words, she feeds off emotions the same way the Shadows do, or at least leeches the excess off. This is helpful in calming people down.
Other than that she's as normal as the child of a Thief/Assassin and a rockstar tattoo artist can be. Whenever her mother had a job (one that she couldn't take a kid along on) Henriette stayed with her father, this means she spent a lot of time at tattoo expos during her formative years.
She was born in Louisiana, but has dual citizenship for the US and for Great Britain, and her parents made sure she was raised right, and could take care of herself. Consequently she's not only a good cook, but she's also a first degree black belt in Bushido-Kai.
She followed in neither of her parents' footsteps and before being vortex'd, she was going to Cornell law school, so that she could become (in her own words) "The most kick-ass defense attorney ever"
Since being vortex'd, she has re-met (and subsiquently married) her childhood friend, she has become an intern at Denny Crane's Boston office, and thanks to the M-Day 2: Genetic Boogaloo plot, she has developed a secondary mutation, much like her grandfather's ability to charge things and cause them to explode. She uses stored emotional and bio-electrical energy more than solar or kenetic, but it has the same effect.
Henriette is played by Sterling, her PB is Pauley Perrette and she's a whole lot of fun, really.
