What is there to say about Iggy?

Well, he was born James Griffiths, but he's forsaken birth family for flock (or was trying to, when he got Vortex'd) and his canon, The Maximum Ride series, is a little bit like the Dark Angel series, insomuch as it's a group of kids who were in a secret-government-type facility that grafted animal DNA onto humans.

The Flock (as they call themselves) are 98% human 2% bird.  With the help of one of the 'whitecoats' (a man named Jeb Batchelder) the six of them escaped from the facility, also called 'The School'.

This was just the start of their troubles, the School wants them back, and badly.

Iggy himself is blind, thanks to the doctors at the School trying to super-enhance his night vision.  Since being blinded his other senses have stepped up to speed, he can identify the rest of the flock by the feel of feathers, or the weight of footsteps, he can often identify them by scent alone.  He doesn't let being blind bother him, because he just 'sees' with the rest of his senses for the most part.  It's difficult for him to tell where things are if there's too much background noise, or, adversely, if there's not enough.  It isn't exactly echolocation, but it's close enough.

He's clever, a problem-solver and a natural with fire and explosives.  He's also the best cook out of the six of them, possibly due to the heightened senses.  He's fiercely protective of his flock, and they're equally as protective of him.  Though, like any teenager, he needs time and space to himself now and again and as much as he tries to hide it, sometimes emotions get the best of him.

In-game evolution:  He has been adopted by Navi and thanks to the M-Day 2:  Genetic Boogaloo plot, he has developed his sadly canonical mutation of being able to feel colors.  With his fingers.  WITH  HIS  FINGERS.
