John Winchester is the father of Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester, husband to Mary Winchester. He is from the television show Supernatural, and is here from an undefined time after he went to hell (Episode 2x01: In My Time of Dying). 

He came into this world as a homeless person in Seattle; his sons collected him and brought him to London. He is working on obtaining a job, as he doesn't like taking too much from his boys.
