Before the Game

Lulu is a character in the Square Enix role-playing game Final Fantasy X. She is one of Yuna's guardians, and treats her like a younger sister. Her basic physical attacks are weak initially, but she is the only character to be able to use Black Magic at that stage of the game. As such, she can be classified as a member of the Black Mage character class.

Lulu — born on the island of Besaid, where she grew up with Wakka, Yuna and Wakka's younger brother, Chappu — is often stern and scathing (particularly to Wakka), and doesn't smile very often. However, she is nonetheless kind-hearted and caring toward others. She is also highly intelligent, and is one of the few Yevonites who easily questions the Yevon religion on objective terms. Nonetheless, she is still shaken by the hypocrisy of the Yevon order, though she adjusts to this reality faster than some of the other former believers in her party. Before becoming a guardian to Yuna, Lulu guarded two previous summoners whose pilgrimages abruptly ended before reaching the Zanarkand Ruins. The pilgrimage of Father Zuke — the second summoner she served as guardian to — ended in the Calm Lands, as he chose not to continue his pilgrimage, a decision many summoners make when they reach those plains. The pilgrimage of the first summoner Lulu guarded, Lady Ginnem, ended only a short distance beyond that. Lady Ginnem's journey to the Final Aeon was cut short by her unfortunate death in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth, taking place during an attempt to acquire the aeon Yojimbo. This event still troubles Lulu's memories, but when Yuna and company detour to the valley where the cave is located, Lulu decides to follow and face her painful memories. At the back of the cave, the group meets the unsent form of Lady Ginnem, the human personality she once held all but completely buried in enmity for the living. Lulu felt that she must fufill a last duty to Ginnem as a guardian in ensuring that her spirit would depart to rest peacefully on the Farplane. After fighting and defeating Yojimbo — the aeon having been summoned by Ginnem — Ginnem's spirit departs for the Farplane.

Prior to his death at the hands of Sin, Lulu had been romantically involved with Wakka's younger brother, Chappu, and his passing left a deep wound in Lulu's heart.

Currently

Lulu has no memory of being brought in by the vortex before, nor does she know anything about the happenings in X-2. She replaced a toy store owner (legit toys, you pervs).  She is married to the elder version of Skwisgaar Skwigelf, and has two children with him that have been vortex'd into their pasts (meaning that they are her children from the future, essentially) - Soren and Sindre Skwigelf.  She is still pregnant with Sindre, and she has taken to calling the smaller version of Soren Sor, so she can tell him apart from the vortex'd Soren.
