Before the Game

The students at Clone Uni were all cloned from various mythological or historical figures.  Mary is a clone of the Virgin Mary, and as such, has some inate powers.  She's an eternal mother. She can infuse good feelings into her cooking (she loves to bake), and she's still well liked by God. She manages to avoid the little things that make people not liked by God upset - cavities, paper cuts, getting stuck in traffic. The little stuff doesn't bother her, and she makes people happier just by being around.  Nothing gets Mary down for too long. She likes being around people, and making people happy. She loves children, and seems to have a gift for getting them to listen to her.

Mary met Thor Johnson at Clone University and fell in love very quickly.  They were married and pregnant months after they met, and Mary gave birth to a boy named Toby.  Mary's best friend at Clone Uni was Lucifer.

Upon Arrival

Mary replaced a girl whose parents died in a car accident.  There was a modest amount of money in her bank account, and a new "sister" named Esther.  Mary treats Esther more like her own child than her sister, though Esther is likely unaware of this due to her young age.  Thor disappeared a few months after his arrival, leaving Mary alone and adrift.  After a few months of waiting for his return, one night she and Lucifer gave into the feelings they'd had each other for a long time.  They are currently engaged to be married.
