Phillip Micciche is what is known as an Incarnate. Incarnates are reincarnated individuals who are made aware of who they are. Around the age of 16, usually, they go through a process called the "Melding" in which they have their own memories shifted and the suppressed memories of their former life are allowed to surface and mingle with their present memories. In Phillip's case, he is the reincarnation of Prince Phillip, the hero from Sleeping Beauty (known in UTR world as "Slumbering Maiden").

Phillip sometimes has difficulties associating his past life with the man he is. And he finds some annoyance in how his life story, turned fairy tale, has been twisted slightly. He deals with it, however, as it's easier then attempting to explain the differences.

Upon Phillip's arrival into UTR, he and Aurora were barely speaking to one another. They did not hit it off upon first meeting one another as teenagers and despite who they are the reincarnations of, things have not gotten better. He almost finds it a small blessing that he has a new start, though he's replaced Zac Efron in this world and is constantly surrounded by fans wanting his autograph. He's always been a rather unassuming guy so the new attention weirds him out some.
