Yet another member of the Cheevy-Brennan flock. Less with the Cheevy.

Riordan is some manner of cousin or nephew to Liam Brennan, second cousin or cousin once or twice removed or something to Miniver Cheevy and Teague Brennan. He grew up in Dublin, the son of working-class parents. While his family was no more dysfunctional than most, neither were they especially attentive to their only son, who was seemingly born with a taste for independence. By age 14, he began spending less and less time at his actual house, and at some point between the age of 16 and 18 he had stopped living there completely without anyone really taking much notice. He is currently 23 years old.

When not pretending to be the next James Joyce, Riordan makes what little money he has writing obituaries, eulogies, and those blurbs you see on museum exhibits and monument plaques. He has a degree which he doesn't use to his advantage because writing great novels requires that one must not have a regular job (or something). He's a classic case of unrecognized potential.

Riordan was born in 1961. Yet another timejumping Brennan, he dropped into UTR-world from 1984.
