Sha Gojyo from Saiyuki.

Sha Gojyo is a half yokai, or taboo child.  He's a jack of all trades, gambler, fighter, drinker extraordinar.  He traveled west with three companions: Son Goku, the monkey king, Sanzo, a cursing, smoking, shooting, drinking priest, and Cho Hakkai, and overly polite yokai.  At some point he fell in love with Hakkai, and when he came to this insane world and found a Hakkai who was grieving over losing the old Gojyo, he finally got the guts up to tell him.  Gojyo and Hakkai were living together quite happily for some time before Hakkai disappeared.  He's now living on his own in a small, one room house.

Gojyo also found, when he got here, that the old him had a daughter.  She had been magically aged up, as people sometimes do here, so that she was a teenager.  She had bright red hair, just like his own, and he's amazingly happy to be a father. He is completely awkward with the mother of his daughter, but he tries his best to do well by her.
