  Quirks/Habits: The only pie she likes is pumpkin. Favorite season is winter. Is very domestic. Loves cooking with an affinity for baking. Prefers to stay at home than go out and party. Is a champion ice skater, having nearly made it to the Olympics in 1988.

  Activities: Ice skating in her free time, cooking, crossword puzzles, watching football and baseball (home teams of the Seahawks and Mariners, respectively), swimming, running, reading in front of the fireplace.

  Home: Currently still living in a VIP suite at Cheyenne Mountain when she isn't in Daniel's quarters or his apartment.

  Friends: Can name several among high government officials including the President of the United States as her ex-husband served on his secret service detail for a short time. At Cheyenne Mountain, there are several Tok'ra and Goa'uld agents she counts as friends. Also, she still has contacts in the Agency itself.

  Finances: From a strong southern family, fairly well off in it's own right, she has inherited quite a bit from them. Has money from numerous endorsements as a skater that she put into money market accounts, as well as several investments. As a CIA agent, she spent two and a half years not having to spend much while still being paid. Therefore, Shannon has quite a bit of money stashed away.

  Build: Slender, toned. As an agent for the government, she spends a lot of time in training and keeping fit.

  Defining Marks: A small tattoo on her hip, towards her backside, smaller than a quarter. Two greek letters from her sorority. Chi Omega. (ΧΩ). She has a scar just below her right shoulder where Eric shot her during an operation with CTU New York in an attempt to shoot the man holding her hostage. It worked. She has another scar on her abdomen where she was burned with an overzealous jaffa and a firestick. X-rays would reveal many healed broken bones and other injuries, including infertility. (see 'Other').

  Dress Style: Professional at the office, Neiman Marcus suits, very expensive. On the weekends, jeans and polo shirts. On a mission, whatever is required.

  Manner of Speech: When she's very tired, her southern drawl can slip in. She's spent too much time in various locations to have any one accent, however. When she's irritated, she can be very short. Swearing is not often, but when she does break it out, it's time to listen. Has a tendency to stop speaking altogether when sizing up an enemy or a potential target. She speaks nine languages fluently: English, Russian, Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish, two dialects of Chinese and a very obscure dialect of Turkish spoken in southern Azerbaijan. There are several others she understands and can get by in. The small amount of Goa'uld she knows she doesn't count.

  Manner of Movement: It depends on what she's doing. As a spy, she knows how to sneak around. As a woman, she can be seductive (which also comes in handy as a spy). She can run a mile in under six minutes. Her personal records for sitting completely still and for not speaking a single word (both during her captivity) were 21 hours and 6 days, respectively.

• Other:

  Ba'al: She spent four months in his company when she had to be left behind on an SG mission that went horrifically wrong. He tortured her to death four times over the course of those four months, using the sarcophagus in his possession to bring her back every time. Later, she found out he intended her to be host to his mate and become his queen, but she escaped with the help of one his guards (who was loyal to a rival system Lord). That story can be found here.

  Infertility: As a government agent, Shannon was administered the Depo shot on a regular basis because of what could possibly happen on a mission. Because of her captivity with Ba'al, Shannon was found to be unable to have children, rendering the Depo shot moot. A sarcophagus has regenerative abilities, as long as one utilizes it. When Shannon escaped, she didn't have the opportunity to use it to heal herself before she left (and wouldn't have taken the chance had it been offered to her.) However, later, on a mission with Eric to Russia, she was captured by Nefertiti (another System Lord). Nef's goons beat her up for fun and then Ba'al made an appearance. Shannon was understandably freaked and then Nef had her placed in a sarcophagus before she was released. This healed her body, which no one took into consideration and she was not placed back on birth control before she resumed her sexual activities with her steady.
