Susan Foreman is the long lost grandchild of The Doctor.

Though canon is vague on Susan's actual species, for the sake of the game, I am arguing that she is indeed fully Timelady and has regenereated once.

Susan was the Doctor's first companion, traveling with him until 2164 where she was locked out of the TARDIS to persue what the Doctor believed to be her inner desire: To stay in one place and time, to set down roots and get married. The Doctor, Susan and two of Susan's teachers from her school: Barbara and Ian arrived in 2164 to discover a London overrun and devistated by Daleks who wished to remove the inner core of the Earth and replace it with an engine, effectively making it a planet sized battle tank. Helping the human freedom fighters, Susan met and fell in love with a man named David Campbell. While the Doctor resisted the idea at first, he eventually came to the conclusion that if he did not lock her out, she would never learn to persue her own dreams.

In my invented history, Susan did marry David and they were somewhat happy for a few years, helping the rest of the Earth rebuild after the Dalek invasion. During the rebuilding process, different factions with different ideas for what was good for humanity debated, then bickered then fought then started new wars. During such a war, David was killed in battle and Susan was fatally wounded enough to start her very first regeneration process. She waited for her Grandfather to keep his promise and come back to get her, but years went by with no sign of him.

And then the Vortex came.
