Toki Wartooth (Post-Dethklok)

Page history last edited by Sage 2 mos ago

Toki Wartooth is from Metalocalypse, and his player is Sage. His PB is Josh Brolin (And when on tour, Nocturnal Models' "Rasmus"), and his journal is Oh_Wowee.

Toki Wartooth had been to this world once before. In fact, he'd been to a couple worlds since, and before.

He was married to Skwisgaar Skwigelf (unofficially), and to Stephanie Wartooth (officially). Since then, he's made three really adorable kids. Brenda Annn, Torii-Sou, and Teja Manus Stefan. He also raised Glyndaa Marie as his own.

Since then, he's come back through Sadako Yamamura's amazing talents, because Skwisgaar is a greedy bastard.

He talks funny, btw. Just so you knows dat.

Here is the life story of Toki Wartooth

Toki is a childlike man. He was raised in the scary, fjord-infested northlands of Norway, by a reverand and his scarily mute wife. Toki was the only living child out of about 14, who all died of illness or exposure to the cold. When he was a child, he and his folks moved around from parish to parish, because the towns they went to all mysteriously wound up becoming infected with the plague. Everybody that Toki knew as a child wound up dead, other than his mother and father. When he was young, he was taught to play the pipe organ. He never really enjoyed it, and always wanted to learn how to play guitar. Unfortunately, his pious father told him it was the Devil's instrument, and forbade it. Toki's childhood was horribly rough. He was beaten frequently, and sometimes chained into the basement walls of the church, and whipped. He was made to gather firewood in blistering cold temperatures during the winter, and sometimes had to sneak back into his own home at night because moter and papa locked him out. When he turned 12, he was sent away to Lillehammer, to a boarding music school, because his mother and father didn't want to have to deal with raising him any longer.

At music school, he picked up the guitar in earnest. He couldn't read music, but he could play by ear basically any song given to him - not only on guitar, but on piano and organ as well. He had a natural talent for his playing, and with that talent, came a certain, how shall we say, power. His music was cloyingly emotional, and swept people into it, like the rhytmic stories told by his ancestors once did. It was hypnotic to listen to him play. By the age of 15, he was good enough to start competing. He started on the city level, and by the time he was 17, he was in national news as a young guitar prodigy. He entered the international speed guitar championships when he was 18, and competed against his long-time idol, Skwisgaar Skwigelf. He lost, only barely. And for the next three years, it was a grudge match competition between the two guitarists. Finally, the judges and sponsers of the championships decided that there was no doubt about it, they would remain ruling champions of speed guitar forever. When Toki turned 21, he was signed to a new supergroup that was being created. That supergroup's name was Dethklok.

Dethklok was Toki's first band. Dethklok was Toki's ONLY band. He played with them for nearly a decade, turning out album after album of mind-shatteringly amazing, epic, BRUTAL metal. Each album brought the band one step closer to ruling the world, and every album brought the world one step closer to its death. Of course, Toki didn't realize that. He was far too busy caught up in a love-hate (mostly sex) relationship with his bandmate and the lead guitarist, Skwisgaar Skwigelf.

However, there's a piece to this story I haven't told yet.

You see, when he was about 8 years old, he was walking into the wood shed with a bundle of tinder, and opened the door to find a place that was certainly not the interior of the woodshed. It was the bar at the end of the universe. Milliways. There, he met a pink-haired girl named Stephanie. He and Stephanie were quick friends. She was the apple of Toki's eye. Periodically throughout his life, he managed to find doors to the Bar, and always wound up being able to see Stephanie (as well as other friends, including a dead king named Teja,) and spend time with her. Their friendship blossomed and as they got more mature, he realized that he was starting to fall for the pink-haired girl. Lady. Steph. Even while playing for Dethklok, he wound up seeing her.

And then, he got sucked up into the Vortex, and landed here.

Landed here without his Skwisgaar, although there were two more to take up his time. An older Skwisgaar - who got married to a woman named Lulu, and a younger Skwisgaar. And then, Stephanie came along. They finally started dating, right here, in this game.

And then, the younger Skwisgaar aged up, and Toki, having found a way back to the bar, yet again, gathered up his two loves, and made his way back to the bar. They stayed there for a few weeks, and then, when Toki tried bringing them all back to their own reality, he couldn't. He wound up bringing Skwisgaar and Stephanie to a reality that was once the home of his friend, Miniver Cheevy.

He'd traveled realities into the year 1968. So, without further ado, they made their home there. He eventually married Stephanie and the three lived together, first in Lazytown, which was Stephanie's home. Toki and Stephanie had their first daughter, Brenda, while living there. Brenda was raised in Lazytown. As was their second daughter, (Actually Skwisgaar's, that was a drunken whoopsie!) Glyndaa. They then moved to San Fransisco after Toki and Stephanie decided to retire, and had their third and fourth child, Torii Sou, and Teja. It was during Stephanie's pregnancy with Teja that Toki found out he was dying.

He was 50, and Teja was only two months old, when Toki Wartooth died of complications to Diabetes. He'd lived a long, and fruitful life. His wife and husband were crushed. His husband moreso, and when Skwisgaar traveled back to this world, he moved on and married Lulu. However... He wasn't going to let Toki go so easily.

Skwisgaar had a lock of hair that Toki had given him when they had found out Toki was dying. Toki wouldn't let Skwisgaar go on alone, and he'd remembered that in his youth, he knew a healer who could bring people back to life. And with the help of Sadako, Toki was resurrected.

And now he's back in UTR, fully alive, perfectly healthy (except for his addiction to candy), and helping raise Skwisgaar and Lulu's children, as well as looking after his own brood.
