Alim is one of the results of Katie playing far too much Dragon Age II. He's the Warden who saved Ferelden from the Blight, and is from the Elven Mage origin... so, appropriately, his journal is elvenwarden. His PB is Martin Amondarain.

He's been through the events of Awakening, and through every DLC pack. At the end of Witch Hunt, he chose to go through the mirror with Morrigan, and it's at that precise moment the Vortex decided to steal him away. To say he's confused out of his mind would be an understatement.
